On Friday (June 3, 2022), the "SINTA Data Synchronization and Accreditation Form Completion for Lecturers in the Research and Community Service Sector of the Faculty of Engineering, Janabadra University" event was held at the Khas Tugu Hotel Yogya, Jalan Diponegoro 99, Yogyakarta, with all lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering, UJB, participating.
In her remarks, Titiek Widyasari, S.T., M.T., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, UJB, explained that this event aimed to demonstrate the synchronization and updating of Sinta data, ensuring that lecturers' published publications are recognized by various citation institutions and linked to SINTA.
The purpose of this event was not only to update SINTA but also to complete the lecturers' performance data, particularly in the research and community service sectors, as well as to complete the accreditation process.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering (FT), Titik, hopes that the Civil Engineering study program will be submitted in August/September, as will the Informatics Engineering study program, as the accreditation extension will expire in December 2022. Therefore, both programs must complete their forms, particularly those regarding lecturer performance, immediately this year (2022).
Furthermore, the data contained in these forms is very useful not only for reaccreditation purposes but also for other purposes such as audits, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and so on. Finally, I would like to thank Dr. Nindyo Cahyo Kresnanto, the resource person for today's event.
On the same occasion, the Rector of Janabadra University stated that every lecturer must diligently update their SINTA (Sister), etc., as all lecturer data, from BKD to PAK, is available there. Lecturer publications, both in proceedings and journals, will be recognized by various citation agencies, including Garuda, Rama, Sinta, Google Scholar, Publon (WOS), and Scopus. Currently, lecturers, whether they like it or not, must have works recognized by their institutions because for the purposes of BKD to PAK, lecturer publications are required there. In addition, recognized publications there can be used to measure the performance of lecturers, departments, and universities. Therefore, if lecturers want to contribute well to departments/study programs and universities, then compete to produce recognized/indexed publications both nationally and internationally, and of course the main target is Scopus.
