Alhamdulillah, good news has come from the Civil Engineering Study Program at Janabadra University. Another lecturer has successfully earned a doctorate in Geotechnics , adding to the list of educators with doctoral degrees in the Faculty of Engineering. Mrs. Dr. Nur Ayu Diana Citra Dewi SP, ST, MT has successfully earned a Doctorate in Geotechnics from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) with a dissertation entitled "Stabilization of Coastal Liquefaction-Prone Soil Using Microbes with Variations in Water Salinity."

This achievement demonstrates the Civil Engineering Study Program's commitment to continuously improving the quality of its human resources, both in education, research, and community service. With the addition of another doctoral lecturer, the academic strength and research capacity in civil engineering, particularly geotechnics, are further strengthened.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Janabadra University, expressed his gratitude and pride for this achievement. "We are very grateful and proud. With the addition of young lecturers with doctoral degrees in the field of geotechnics will strengthen science, enrich research, while also making a real contribution in producing superior graduates who are ready to compete in the world of work, Mrs. Dr. Nur Ayu graduated with distinction with a study period of only 4 (four) years and with a perfect GPA of 4 , " he said.

The field of geotechnics plays a strategic role in infrastructure development, particularly in the planning and design of foundations, slope stability, and soil analysis, which form the foundation for a building's strength. The presence of experts with doctoral degrees in this field will further support academic activities, innovative research, and opportunities for collaboration with various parties.

With this addition, the Civil Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Janabadra University, is optimistic that it will continue to move forward to become a superior, competitive study program that makes a real contribution to national development.
